If you read my book “Elevate the Everyday”, you might remember my “Rachel McAdams Jacket” from chapter 13. Well, here it is! I purchased this second-hand for a fabulous deal! It’s made in Canada 🇨🇦 by Smythe and has a lot of unique and high-quality details that set it apart. The fabric is a thick, rich wool. The zipper and buttons are heavy duty. The D-rings cinch the waist in at just the right spot and provide a flattering silhouette. Someone asked me the other day how I build my second-hand shopping wish list. I definitely look to favorite celebrities for inspiration. Although I don’t have Rachel’s fabulous dimples, I do have her jacket!(A note on Smythe. I always size up at least one size, sometimes two! I’ve tried their Duchess Blazer on in consignment stores and I would say that piece in particular is VERY fitted. I would recommend sizing up two sizes if you are going for the Kate Middleton 👑 look!)
