I have a new book coming out in a couple of weeks! It might just be my favorite one so far. I’m super excited to get it wrapped up and ready to go. I’m just going through the final edit right now.

CHAPTER 20: BUY SOME BEACH IN A BOTTLE

Do you switch your perfume with the seasons? I do! My everyday summer perfume is “Vahina” by @sylvainedelacourte. They describe it as “a nectar of fruity vanilla flowers lit by the radiance of mandarin.” It smells even more delicious than it sounds!

I also wear “Prodigieux” now and then by Nuxe. If you are a fan of their iconic “huile prodigeuse”, this is basically that scent in an eau de parfum form. I was surprised to see this on sale at my local pharmacy in Canada, so I could not resist picking it up.

When it comes to nail polish, I’m a classics girl. I stick with red on the toes and nude/soft pink on my hands year-round. This is my full collection of colors!⁣

I do my own manicures at home, but during the summer months I always treat myself to pedicures. They do such an incredible job at the spa, and this time I opted for a gel finish. I have found that regular polish just doesn’t hold up to the wear and tear of sandy beach walks. It’s worth the extra money for me as a gel pedicure lasts an incredibly long time. You also get to walk out completely dry, which is a bonus when you have dogs at home. Coco likes to trample me as soon as you walk in the door, and last year he ruined a fresh pedicure within 2 seconds. ⁣

Spring is such a great season to hit the reset button. It gets me in the mood to upgrade and freshen up all areas of my life- from my home, to my beauty routines to my wardrobe. 👗🧹💄

It’s the perfect time of year to dive into a personal style journey! If this is something you have been pondering for a while, but don’t know where to start, I think you would really enjoy my book, Elevate Your Personal Style: Inspiration for the Everyday Woman As the title states, it’s written from the perspective of an average everyday woman (me), which I think makes it feel relatable and realistic. It’s not so much a “how to manual”, but rather a source of inspiration and motivation.

If you have read my book, what was your favorite chapter? What have you implemented that had the most impact?

Is anyone else a fan of maintaining a minimal makeup collection? Other than a few products tucked away under the sink, this is all I own! I’m not a makeup guru (obviously) so I like to keep things simple. I feel like I don’t need much to pull together a quick, fresh face in the morning. Once I’m finished with each item in my makeup basket, my job is done!

I just finished tidying up my little corner of the bathroom. I washed my cosmetic brushes and pulled out this eyeshadow palette and my black honey lip stain from Clinique. I also tucked away my bronzer. I’m all set for fall!

On another note I’m just putting the final touches on my new book cover. I’m hoping to have it up on Amazon mid-week. I can’t wait to share it!
