I’m working away on a new book! Here’s a sneak peak of some of the cover artwork. Can you guess the topic I’ll be exploring? Obviously veggies are an important part of it!
These sweet little paintings are absolutely dreamy, don’t you agree? Thank you again to the incredibly talented @flourishellis for capturing my vison so perfectly.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

Like many people, I started my Christmas shopping early this year. Crowded stores and malls are places I’m trying to avoid these days. I’m really scaling back on the number of gifts this year, narrowing my focus on choosing meaningful, carefully selected items.
If you are looking for a thoughtful gift for a special woman in your life, I’d like to recommend one of my books! They cover topics that would be of interest to anyone in life – fitness, homelife, health, finances, food, fashion, beauty, mindset….and so much more! They were written from the heart and from the perspective of an average, everyday woman (me!). They are both available on Amazon and my experience has been that the shipping and turnaround time is very fast. (Since they are self-published titles they are printed on demand.)
Although the holiday season is going to look different this year, I’m still expecting it to be lovely and warm. Stay safe everyone!

“One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach. One can only collect a few. One moon shell is more impressive than three.”
Anne Morrow Lindbergh ~ Gift from the Sea.
I read “Gift from the Sea” every single summer and I’m trying to carry the message of this book along with me as we head into the season of holiday overload. The themes and messages never grow old. (It was written over fifty years ago!) There is so much wisdom offered in this tiny little book
This is one of my favorite quotes I like to keep in my back pocket 👖. This can apply to so many areas in life! One slice of cake? One black dress? One photo? One post? One gift? What area of your life would you most like to use this mindset?

Here is the belt I chose. It’s by Sézane, but I originally spotted it on a photo of Kate Middleton. It’s called the “Artemis Belt”. It’s very versatile as it pairs well with denim, but can also be cinched around the waist (which is how The Duchess styled it). I snagged this second-hand on the site Vide Dressing! I’m using this “waiting game” approach for a couple of items on my winter wish list. Someone’s else’s cast off is your next treasure!
